KoolFood
Good food from people you know.
Someone cooks too much. Someone else has no time. KoolFood connects the two - inside a circle of people who know each other, and nowhere else.
What the app does not do
This is not a marketplace. Nothing is public. A dish exists only for the members of the circle where it is offered - a building, a neighbourhood, an office, an extended family.
Money does not pass through the platform. People settle between themselves and the app records that it is done. Use is free; a cook who wishes may support the project, never out of obligation.
The circle
Everything starts with a circle. Whoever creates it becomes the administrator and hands out an invitation code. Without that code nobody gets in - and so nobody sees what is cooking.
Offering a dish
Describe the dish, add a photo, set the price per portion. Then open a slot: the day, the pick-up time, and how many portions you can make.
The price is frozen at order time. If you change it later, existing orders keep the old one - nobody gets a surprise.
Ordering and settling
You pick your portions and a hand-over mode: pick-up, delivered by the cook, or by a volunteer neighbour. The cook accepts, prepares, and says when it is ready.
After hand-over you declare payment, and a button offers to tell the cook on WhatsApp - with dish and amount already written. Again, the app sends nothing: it opens your WhatsApp.
Once delivered, you can leave a review. It counts inside the circle only - reputation follows nobody outside.
